Resistance to Extreme Temperatures

Faulty or incorrect bracketing could lead to PVC-u demonstrating excessive distortion due to extreme temperatures,
for example when handling hot wastes, or in otherwise hot environments - leading to damage to the drainage system.
Because of its low co-efficient of expansion, cast iron has no such disadvantages.
